On Friday night at about 9 pm (I forgot exactly when), while waiting for a train at Paya Lebar CCL station, I saw a train entering the middle platform from the dead end of the track (not coming from MacPherson). Wondering what the train was doing "hiding" at the end of the middle track, when the short-service trains (between Paya Lebar and Marymount) had ended about 1 hour ago ...
I saw a message on the TO Notice Board @ JUR middle platform which said that all trains plying between JUR - BBT must be in CM.

It's been there for more than a year.
@ willis, and i cant believe the yellow lights at BBT, CNG, JUR and CLE have been blinking away since JEMP started, which is mid-2009...

Just now 06:53 PM, 229/230 overrun @ BNV Stn by 2 doors...By the time the train i was boarding departs BNV,the C651 was still stuck there...
PYL train 'hiding' there may be for next peak hour use.

Power failure at Bukit Panjang.
Bukit Panjang services were disrupted, services resumed around 7pm.
One train (set 114) stopped just west of Phoenix, about 25m away, one door was open facing the emergency walkway

No. It does not make sense but it was feedbacked in press before.
Look, even if LRT demolished, then maybe most likely, forget the curve in Bukit Panjang / GBD (Maybe extend to Yew Tee to avoid 90 degree turn la), then one MRT station can be build at Teck Whye or Keat Hong. The others cannot due to distance. If they interchange with Yew Tee, then it is according proportionally to the North.
Well, take a look in this way, why not interchange at Kranji if Sungei Kadut is not possible (Roadwise Sungei Kadut is best but....). It benefits both Woodlands and CCK at a lesser extent.

Yesterday,04/12/10: I boarded 013/014 @ JUR & when it reach Redhill, it overrun by 1 door.the train stalled for a minute b4 TO reverse the train to the original position. i think the morning rain could have cause this :p
This morning I boarded 065/066 on the NSL heading towards the city. When approaching Sembawang, for some unknown reason the train did not brake as usual. When it did brake and then came to a stop, the train overshot the platfrom by 4 whole carriages! The TO announced that there was a train fault, then proceeded to Yishun (probably in CM, as train approached Yishun really slowly, like TO scared train overshot station again).
And the best part of it?
Show the best part:It was not even raining! It was a fine sunny morning!
2 train incidents:
1st: AMK DNB swap

What happened on top is that a C751B 313-314 reached on usual AMK MRB bound platform. Train doors never open, and no passenger in it. There is no over / underrun thing. It stayed there for quite some time and I am pretty certain that this could be a Yishun bound train left emptied after Yishun slidings to AMK. BTW, RATIS shows a Marina Bay somemore. Middle platform with no train information.
Train door opened by a TO. It stayed that for about another 3 ~ 5 minutes. Then this train on top of the picture, 095 / 096 comes into AMK middle track. As you can see, only 1 side of the doors is opened. I tried to go in the train (in carriage 3095) and the TO asked us to get off the train as no service liao. [There are some commuters dunno what the heck has happened, and definitely there is no announcement / staff there to say it is a DNB except RATIS].
After the passengers had changed the train from 095/096 to 313/314, train proceeds together as if like train race. The middle track seemed to be faster initally, but gets to slow and stop before it approaches BSD [Since the train is moving, I have no proof to say it goes down to BSD, or it crossovers back to main line as next train after it. I did not bother to wait for next train to verify as I am changing towards EWL in CTH]. I saw 095/096 STARIS is still approaching to BSH and ends at MRB. Funny.
That was like 8pm or so.
Well, in another separate incident, I saw a C651 emptied and CM into Paya Lebar. No pax, no stop. A DNB towards Eunos / CHD. Weird at a time of 9:50pm or so. Too far to spot the car number because I was at the bus stop then. I did not see a test train sticker, most likely not due to unclear as my first reaction was "Siao liao, today got people track suicide boh". Apparenly there is no such thing. Train fault location is most likely after OTP for the sake that if the train is happening on / before OTP, then it should go hiding on OTP slidings.
1st case is weird!
