C830 no STARIS. And the VPIS in the C830s scroll "This service ends at CC9 Paya Lebar"

Trains terminates at Paya Lebar and return to Marymount, not the depot

Surely will plunge de la. People take CCL instead of walking through Citylink Mall to Suntec
Last sat, onboard a train from PYL. One of the doors didnt shut properly. Then the announcement says," Please keep clear of doors", tone is diff.

haha...shown on news. as usual, singaporeans are lazy...they wan shortcut...dun wan walk.
what i would suggest is like what they do to trains at AMK during lunchtime express. Train Enter PYL, open the doors on the side that is heading towards DBG first. Let all the pax get out. Then, close that side of the door. After which, open the door on the opp side. Let pax go in. I find that way effective. Leaving both doors open would not help much. People will get confused if they are not looking at the RATIS carefully. And seriously, they need to remove the (8) Paya Lebar and make it Paya Lebar only.

No. That is the worst way I have ever since. They should open both doors like Jurong East like that and leave the pax there. This is because pax knows that this is the middle platform, and hence, should roughly know that it is a terminus station. By getting all pax out using the door facing DBG and close it, followed by re-opening the other door, is creating a lot of inconvience, should a pax overstop it / or wana to get a seat and dont mind travelling time is slightly longer.

The Citylink between ESP and CTH not very short distance.
As I from CTH to ESP or ESP to CTH takes about 15min!

it's obvious one actually.
Even if SMRT only bothers w/ 7 mins, ppl would rather take CCL than walking.
Going to Suntec via citylink mall need to walk up and down :S
CCL station play 2 new annoucement:
1) For quicker boarding, please movre to the less crowded area along the platform. Thank you. (ANNOUCEMENT BACK IN ACTION)

what if they don't? I find the way they did at AMK is much more effective. Imagine someone wants to go to stadium from Bishan, took the train and eventually falls asleep without realising. At least at Paya Lebar, the train officer will wake him and inform him to take the train at Platform B. If not, when he wakes up and find himself back at Bishan, he's seriously going to lose face. I know that we may have different opinions on this take and this is from my point of view

but the 7 mins CBD leg causes the trains to reach Paya Lebar jam packed during PM peak hours. Such trips dun help much.
