haha yap allowed. i went there and snap lots of pics in the gallery.
Due to some unforseen circumstances, I may not be able to attend the LTG (argh...planner himself can't go). I will put myself as "TBC" and wenjie will be the new IC.
Please put me in the TBC list. I'll try my best to attend this gathering.

The staff there say: "The C951 is not opened for public yet"
I feel like setting a session 2 for the LTG visit (since i cannot attend the current).
If anyone is interested, I will make it public.

New prototype Downtown Line train is now at LTA - Hamsphire Rd. Alot of changes have been made to the interior. Also, first time ever, the new trains will be made in China with lighter materials, weight lesser by 1.6 tonnes, cost & electricity savings. Of cos, the designs are from Germany. LTA had confirmed orders of 73 new trains of $1500 million.
- Front exterior designs almost like high speed trains
- Cherry Red Priority Seats
- Leaning cushions at front and end of cars
- Bigger Interior LED Info panel able to display with Chinese, Malay, English & Tamil words
- Clearer & brighter LED working MRT lines Maps
- Humps between seats to further improve other people from invading others' seats

They are not cushions, just plastic

i do not know why the plastics are installed, it is better to lean on the exsisting plastic wall of the train, or the handrails of the PIW slot
