  Today:

  Khatib  Bishan: 121/122 - in CM Mode for no reason

  Bishan  Dakota: 251/252/253

  Dakota  Bishan: 231/232/233

  Bishan  Khatib: 101/102

  Here's what happened today:

  • I was walking from CCL to NSL at Bishan and saw this:

        Jurong East 3 mins     Jurong East 4 mins

  • 315/316 arrived. The train was packed so my mother and I decided to board the next train (common sense).
  • However as the doors closing bell rang, the STATIS then changed to reflect that the train would terminate at Ang Mo Kio and an announcement was made (the typical 'The train on Platform A terminates its service at Ang Mo Kio'). After a few moments, the doors then closed.
  • 101/102 pulled in within a few seconds after 315/316 departed. It was moderately filled.
  • At Ang Mo Kio all the passengers on 315/316 whose destination was not Ang Mo Kio then boarded 101/102 at the station.

  I can't reason out what was going on.

  Actually its fine, commenting on each ride is advisable, like flat wheels etc.... More may refer here.
