Open House for new Circle Line stations on April 4
SINGAPORE : The Land Transport Authority (LTA) is giving the public a sneak peek of the new Circle Line (CCL) stations from Dhoby Ghaut to Bartley on Sunday, April 4.
This is about two weeks before the MRT line opens for passenger service on April 17.
The CCL Discovery starts at 11.30am and ends at 6pm.
The CCL from Dhoby Ghaut to Bartley is 11-kilometre long, comprising 11 stations - Dhoby Ghaut, Bras Basah, Esplanade, Promenade, Nicoll Highway, Stadium, Mountbatten, Dakota, Paya Lebar, MacPherson and Tai Seng.
Members of the public can hop on the train at any of the 10 stations from Bras Basah to Tai Seng.

Discover CCL at Open House Event!
1. The Land Transport Authority (LTA) invites the public to visit the 11 new Circle Line (CCL) stations from Dhoby Ghaut to Bartley at the CCL Discovery on 4 Apr 10 (Sun). This full-day open house gives the public an opportunity to get a sneak preview of the new stations before the MRT line opens for passenger service on 17 Apr 10 (Sat).
Myriad of Fun-filled Activities at CCL Discovery
2. CCL Discovery has packed in a myriad of fun-filled activities that will spoil participants for choice. At five of the stations, each done up with a different theme for the day, members of the public can take part in games and quizzes hosted by celebrity DJs, and take home exciting prizes.
3. They can also watch a Teochew Opera at MacPherson station, be fascinated by free style football at Dakota station and get self-portraits painted by caricature artists at Paya Lebar station, just to name a few of these exciting activities. There is something for everyone, from the young to the young-at-heart. Annex A lists the themes and activities at these stations.
4. Come dressed in yellow (CCL's line colour on the system map) or anything with circles, be spotted by our officials between 3pm to 4pm for a catwalk sashay and stand a chance to be voted as the winner of our best dressed competition.

6. On 5 Jan 2010, the LTA launched the CCL Fan Page on Facebook to share the progress of the CCL with netizens. Fans of the CCL Fan Page will receive regular updates on CCL and are encouraged to post their thoughts on the Line. About CCL from Dhoby Ghaut to Bartley
CCL from Dhoby Ghaut to Bartley is 11-kilometre long comprising 11 stations - Dhoby Ghaut, Bras Basah, Esplanade, Promenade, Nicoll Highway, Stadium, Mountbatten, Dakota, Paya Lebar, MacPherson and Tai Seng.
With Paya Lebar Interchange Station joining CCL to the existing East-West Line, passengers travelling from the eastern parts of Singapore can now bypass the busy City Hall and Raffles Place interchanges to get to the city and northern parts of Singapore. The same holds true for those travelling from the north and north-east commuting to the city and the eastern part of the island.
