Nowadays some trains dont have the doors closing blinking, it just stayed throughout

I boarded Set 12 and Set 31. They had DOOR CLOSING blinking.

i guess some trains had the Doors Closing detail changed since the addition of the PC Show announcement.
Did you know that now for the Circle Line, there are 3 different types of Doors Closing animation on the VPIS now?
- Just Static (30% of CCL trains)
- New Animation (AFAIK only set 11 got it)
- Blinking (Rest of CCL Trains)
AFAIK, the Suntec PC show is shown every 1 min. Regarding approaching station or next station.

Evidence:
http://www.lta.gov.sg/corp_info/doc/white%20paper.pdf
So my personal speculation is that they will extend the middle platform of PYL to Marine Parade / Tanjong Katong Road.
Yes, now ERL does not go to Paya Lebar, but it does not means CCL can never go to Marine Parade.
In either case, look at this example:
In the inital stage of CCL, nobody would have expected a Downtown Extension, which is an extension of CCL, but now become Downtown Line.
Furthermore, nobody expected a Marina Bay Extension in the first place. It was subsequently later, the Marina Bay Extension was announced.
So now ERL does not go to Paya Lebar (Or CCL does not go to Marine Parade) does not mean in future it will never as well. Just like Changi Airport Extension.....
Ya. This is what i am hoping. the middle track at paya lebar next time extend to marine parade directly.
If there is no such connection. the ERL will have no interchange station at midpoint and will have to rely on bus link. since they want to extend the network to 540km eventually, this link is a likely possibilty. in the first place, the middle track is already hint that in future, it is possible to extend.
Extend to where? most likely is Marine Parade as it is one of the important station and probably one of the busy stations on ERL, so, it is most likely to be an interchange station.
anyway marine parade station will only be built after several years. for now, rely on bus from paya lebar or dakota stations.
what i dont believe is that the middle track at paya lebar exists just as a spare track and nothing else. of course if they dont build any extension in the end and want to use it as spare track for the long term, its also good. at least during peak hour it can relieve the crowds there.

Nononono it will played around the middle of the stations. In between Esplanade and Bras Basah, its not like a 100m stretch.

Paya Lebar CCL Station would collapse if they were to connect through the middle tracks.

I disagree. Even in Singapore, there are MRT lines for soft soil areas as well (Except the epic failure Nicoll Highway)
Refer to this: http://app.lta.gov.sg/corp_press_content.asp?start=2172
In CCL Stage 4 C855 sector got mention of soft soil.
In short, I still believe the extension exist and since I am going to LTG, so I will ask on tml. (Along with Kallang Line)
BTW, I have posted the reason why Ang Mo Kio and Paya Lebar's middle track might really no use at all apart of LTE / peak hour stuffs along with the long waiting time for DTL Stage 3 insider details.
Did you know that parts of the Downtown Line will be built on soft marine clay as well
http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=408427&page=52
In short, I think that they benefit of connecting Marine Parade to Paya Lebar via CCL middle track is outweights the probability for it to collapse.
Dont forget that there was an engineer from Nicoll Highway who went to mad and suicide and months after that, the station collapsed. (View page 2 of the comment)
Did you know... C830 Set 1 was the last train to be delivered to Singapore?
