EW30 Tuas
EW31 Tuas Basin
EW32 Tuas West
EW33 Second Link
@langer68
You mean the working names. Anyway I don't think SMRT will decide double stations name "Tuas". Unlike Bukit Batok & Gombak.

SMRT does not decide station names. It's LTA and SBNB (street and building names board) who make the decision.

Remember Paya Lebar and Upper Paya Lebar (Now Tai Seng) station?
Also, EW30, is NOT JEMP-ed Jurong East but
----------------------------------> PSR bound
Platform
<--------------------------------- TS bound 1 -----------> Crossover to PSR bound / "TS2"
<--------------------------------- TS bound 2 ------------- From Joo Koon WB / "TS1"
Platform
<--------------------------------- Tuas Checkpoint bound
Where TS = Tuas South and 1 / 2 refers to track 1 / 2 as indiciated above.

maybe EW33 Checkpoint? or Second Link?

Nobody knows as of now.
Second link. If u call it Checkpoint, u may be referring to Woodlands too.

Agree!
I prefer the last station to be called Tuas West as it is at the very west of Tuas.
I shall not prefer it to be called checkpoint as it will confuse people with woodlands checkpoint.
Or it could also be called "Tuas Terminal", as it is beside Tuas bus terminal and second link and moreover, It is a real TERMINAL, there won't be anymore extensions westward to Tuas Terminal, anymore extensions will lead to the SEA or Malaysia.

If the final station "Tuas Terminal", then other stations should not be any more name for "Tuas". And I sure they won't use duplicate names again.
Duplicate names of Tuas:
EW30 Gul
EW31 Tuas Crescent ??
EW32 Tuas West ??
EW33 Tuas Checkpoint??
I don't think so.
Since you hate Tuas Tuas Tuas Tuas Tuas , then you decide names for us lo.
Anyway, that is the only way. you can't create roads and name teh station after it. =O

You tell LTA lor. See whether they really use those names. Just like the DTL.
Tampines West MRT, Tampines MRT, Tampines East MRT... :S

I know. But I hope don't duplicate only. Don't take it so serious.
Probably - you won't know.
Originally posted by zero gravity:First point:possible,but not in the near future.Maybe to the extension's extension?then it can turn towards tuas south.
Second point:maybe the 25x series can move there.However,demand may be higher in Boon Lay and i dun think that the commuters want to travel to Tuas just to get a bus.Anyway,there's already 192 and 193.
What about 182 and 182M?
Then could you suggest other names? I guess otherwise they would use names like Tah Kah Kee's. Not all of you like right?

No. TKK is not a very nice name for MRT station. To me, Hillview and Beauty World on DTL is perfect!
