pedestrains crossing lines at road junctions.

  i saw orange flashing lights on the ground while doing right turns.
  at 2 junctions.
  
  one junction is at new police building at cantoment. when coming down from road where the bus terminal is on the left and the police building on the right. Do a right turn and you can see it.
  
  another one near chin swee road that junction.
  
  anyone else noticed it?

  i'm not very sure too.. but i remembered i heard that these orange lights are to catch driver's attention of pedestrians crossing , especially the elderly.. i heard toa payoh also have.. correct me if i'm wrong..

  so when will it activate? i remember driving through it without see any pedestrains on that side and the lights lit up and caught my attention when i pass it. distraction! haha.
