Fallen debris reported along Braddell Road, police investigating
Workers had plastered parts of the underside of the Toa Payoh flyover.
One lane was closed to allow the workers to complete the repair works.
Traffic along Braddell Road was held up Friday evening due to fallen debris.
Small pieces of concrete were found all over the road towards Upper Serangoon.
These appeared to have fallen from under the Toa Payoh Flyover.
Police were notified about debris on the road just after 5pm.
Officers later cordoned off the entire flyover, but have since opened part of it.
Police said since 7:30pm, the flyover along Toa Payoh Lorong 6 leading into Braddell has been closed to traffic.
But the other direction of the flyover is partially opened.
No one was injured.
Police are now investigating the cause.
