SINGAPORE: The existing Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) gantry along the East Coast Parkway (ECP) will be moved some 250 metres from its current position. The relocated gantry will be closer to Fort Road.
The Land Transport Authority (LTA) said the relocation of the gantry is to facilitate works to realign ECP as part of the Marina Coastal Expressway (MCE) construction project.
Works to install the
columns for the new gantry will start from 31 August 2012. The switch
over to the relocated gantry is expected to take place in November 2012.
LTA said the relocated gantry will only come into operation after the existing gantry has been decommissioned.
LTA added that there will not be any change to the ERP rates.
