SINGAPORE: Traffic was brought to a standstill along the West Coast highway on Friday afternoon after metal beams fell off a lorry.
The incident took place at about noon.
An eyewitness told Channel NewsAsia traffic was at a standstill for about five hours.
Mr Ang Leong Chwee said the metal beams fell off the lorry as it was turning from West Coast Road onto the highway.
