  Rice that’s prettily presented with colourful vegetables and meat arranged neatly on top of it. The ingredients vary for bibimbab, a wonderful healthy Korean meal packed with fibre and vitamins and very little fat and cholesterol. Hot pepper paste or gochujang is served alongside bibimbab – to be mixed into the rice, depending on your preference. Yum

  Chapchae is a traditional Korean dish served on New YearÂ’s Day, birthdays and other festivities. It consists of a mixture of Chinese noodles, vegetables, mushrooms and meat fried together (there is a vegetarian version as well). This dish doesnÂ’t have specific ingredients, so the main ingredient used determines its name eg. if leek or buchu is the main ingredient used, the dish is correspondingly called Buchu Chapchae. Yet another healthy offering from Korea, chapchae is rich in vitamins and calcium.

  anybody knows the korean lang.? this really sounds like our 'chap chai' in hokkien?

  Bibimbab and Chapchae look so delicious. I have tried bibimbab at Tampines Mall Food Court. Yummy.
  
  I also like kimchi but Cold Storage selling 400g of kimchi at $8. Very expensive. Korea sell 1kg kimchi at $8.
  
  Is it easy to prepare kimchi?

  okay... kinda embarassing.. but i have problems with korean chopsticks..
  
  they're metallic and thin.. kinda hard to use with my less-than-agile paws
  
  and at the end where you grip the food with, are patterns which i've raked my teeth with

  must be for the purpose of testing whether the food got poison or not
