uhh.. it'll survive the time but don't think it'll survive the trip
it's easy enough to make but takes forever and a lot of work..
and cleaning up is very easy.. i don't understand why people make such a big fuss out of doing the dishes?

Actually, it is a cool idea. There is warmth and the socializing is better at home then say at a restaurants. I mean, that's my personal opinion only lah. Maybe people don't like the cleaning up later. But hubby and I make a great team. So, I guess it is individual or situational lah huh? -

Some people do fuss that's why I have a good friend who closed her kitchen and now eats out. But please don't laugh. If type of food allow and group is big, we use disposables. Even cups have to have names written so they use the same cup over throughout the night.

We also got handwash but depending lah. No hard and fast rule although I like the plates coming out from dishwasher. -
before the folks got a maid, it was one of my chores to do the dishes...
it's easy.. seriously!
and it's dependent on the washing liquid... you gotta get the right kind.. the type that cuts through all the grease, and rinses off easily -
Mine too, but I usually adjust the ingredients to suit my tastebuds after the first attempt. Sometimes I read through a few recipes of the same dish and "mix and match" the ingredients. I remember trying out a chilli prawn dish and the instructions said to shell the prawns but to leave the tail intact, devein and then slit them right up to the tail. No pictures shown. When I cooked the prawns, the flesh of the prawns curled up on either sides of the tails and they ended up looking like a certain part of the male anatomy!
I couldn't convince anyone it wasn't intended to be an erotic dish ... it really wasn't -

And I know which detergent lah. Sunlight, right? Errrr....Sg got Sunlight or not? But Sg water not so hard. The water here is very hard. Skin feels very dry one. Not sure how your time in Melbourne. But here, after each hand wash, sure must apply hand cream. Winter? Lagi worse. A definite Must!

p.s. i'd rather Mrs Bear and i both do the cooking and both do the dishes.. there's something inherently romantic about a couple doing chores together -

GAMJA TANG / Potato and Pork Bone Soup
Gamja tang is a delicious Korean soup said to have health properties. This dish originates from the Shilla Kingdom (57BC – 935AD), a time when people boiled pork bones to treat the sick and elderly. MANDU
Mandu are Korean dumplings. TheyÂ’re very much like the Chinese jiaozi or the Japanese gyoza, except that the skin of the Korean dumpling is somewhat thicker and more chewy. They can be served steamed, fried or in soup. Popular ingredients for mandu are minced pork, Korean glass noodles, vegetables and kimchi.
