Introduction:
Song-ju and Jung-suh are childhood sweethearts, promised to each other. They are bonded by a similar family background, both having lost a parent each. Jung-suh’s stepbrother Tae-hwa loves her wholeheartedly and misreads her kindness towards him as love. Jung-suh’s stepsister, Yuri, wants everything Jung-suh has, including Song-ju. Together with her mother, Mi-ra, who also wants Jung-suh’s wealthy fiancé for her daughter, they scheme to separate the two young lovers. Mi-ra thwarts Jung-suh’s plans to go abroad with Song-ju to further her studies and Song-ju, unaware of Jung-suh’s plight, goes on alone to America, leaving her to suffer under the cruelty of Mi-ra and Yuri, with only Tae-hwa to lean on. Song-ju returns for Jung-suh three years later, only to manage a glimpse of her waving to him from afar. When he gets to where she is, all he sees is a photograph of them, stained with blood. Jung-suh is nowhere in sight. Later, he gets a phone call from a hospital telling him Jung-suh has died. Heartbroken, Song-ju goes back to America to complete his studies, with Yuri in tow. Five years later, they return to Seoul. Song-ju still isn’t able to accept Jung-suh’s death but feels obligated to Yuri, who’s stood by him during his grief, and succumbs to parental pressure to marry her. On the day of their engagement, Song-ju spots Kim Ji-soo, who bears a shocking resemblance to his Jung-suh. He races after her, only to realise Ji-soo doesn’t recognise him, doesn’t know who Jung-suh is and has no recollection of their love for each other. She is a fashion designer who’s involved with an artist Han Chul-su. But Song-ju is undaunted and pursues Kim Ji-soo relentlessly, to the anguish and disgrace of all others involved …

Aww...this drama is very special for me...I even bought the necklace featured in this drama series
But I haven't had the chance to watch it yet, tho I have heard its soundtrack -

I liked the soundtrack, particularly "Bogo Shipda" by Kim Bum-soo. Such a nice "tragic" voice One of my favourite songs by him is in the Damo soundtrack. -

The popular Korean drama "Stairway to Heaven" will be airing in Central and South America from next month.
The hit program starring actress Choi Ji-woo will be broadcast in eight countries including Mexico, Peru and Costa Rica.
The program is being provided via this station Arirang which settled contracts with national broadcasters in those countries.
Arirang hopes the local airing of the program will help widen the market for Korean broadcast material and promote the surging popularity of Korean pop culture dubbed the Korean Wave phenomenon.
