I think the English FA better take into consideration that the Footballer of the Year, whichever category, must also reflect their image as well.

One-off incidents might still be excusable because it's difficult for third parties to conclude what really happened. But by closing one eye to constant abusive, bad behaviour, what sort of message is the FA sending out to young aspiring footballers?
