Watched this last weekend. I generally prefers wu xia. It was okay. Somehow, reminded me of My Date with Vampire type of storyline.

Story: For many generations, the evil Mae tribe has been at war with the Hwasan, another tribe living near the Mt. Holy, under the protection of the good spirits. With the help of this unexplained divinity, the Hwasan has overcome the Mae tribe, which now has to live in exile in a non-exploitable and deadly region. To end this exile the Mae tribe is working on a revenge plan. They are making a holy sword, made from the blood and bones of a thousand sacrifices, which will destroy the Mt. Holy. But to complete this destructive weapon the Mae need a last sacrifice. The child of a couple formed of a royal family of both clans. Soo, the women leader of the Mae, and Han, the chief of the Hwasan give birth to a daughter named Vee. Soo was planning to give the child to the sacrifice but Han doesn't have the intention to let his child being sacrificed and especially to destroy his native tribes. Han will save his child and give her to the Hwasan tribe where she will be protection from the Mae but Han will get dismissed for treason.
Several years later, Vee is now a woman and has been fully integrated in her new community. Growing up without any parents was difficult but at least she have good friends, Dahn and Juk, two warriors claiming for the title of boss tribe and Yun, princess of the Hwasa. They all have grown up together but now they are all adult and the friendship feeling has now become love. Dahn is fully in love with Vee, who also seems to appreciate his presence a lot. As for Princess Yun, she is planning to marry Juk who has the best chance to become the chief of the tribe. Everything would be perfect if Juk was not been interested in Vee, secretly wishing to marry her. At the same time, the Mae tribe is planning to capture Vee for their ritual. The time of sacrifice has now come and they need that last child before it's too late.
