FireIce recommended Excelsior Hotel's Awon over at the other Korean restaurant thread. There are some other restaurant recommendations there, not too sure about the budget though ...

hmm.. not really. just wanted to taste around in singapore.
i find that there're not many Korean food around here. -
Actually I kinda thought korean food corners are sprouting all over these days. They're even at food courts, which is a good thing coz I can get a pretty good Kimchi Jjigae at $5.50, including a bowl of rice with ikan bilis & kimchi on the side

1) Upper Bukit Timah, Opposite Beauty World. The popular food stall stretch where the malay stall n Wen Dong Ji Chicken Rice are there. Only 1 korean stall.
2) Pasir Panjang, Opposite HawPar Villa. Just beside the No Signboard Crab restaurant n 2nd hand car dealer centre.
Really good, cheap n authentic.
