Looks like it's going to be a more exciting season with Arsenal coming together and Liverpool on the up.
Do you think Chelsea will hold on to the Premiership title for a third season? Perhaps even adding the FA Cup and the coveted Champions League crown?
I think we'll be able to defend the title, with Arsenal nipping away at our heels

MOURINHO GETS CHAMPIONS LEAGUE WISH
Jose Mourinho will have been enjoying a wry smile after the Premier League fixture computer handed Chelsea four home games following their Champions League fixtures.
The Portuguese coach had forecast that rivals Arsenal would be handed more home games than the Barclays Premiership champions after their European games but the Chelsea boss got it wrong.
Instead it will be Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger who will be feeling distinctly unhappy after the fixture computer handed the Gunners an away trip after every one of their seven Champions League games prior to Christmas.
But Manchester United got the best result as all six of their Euro ties are followed by home games at Old Trafford in the Premiership.
Chelsea will go in search of their third successive Premiership title with a home game against Stuart Pearce's Manchester City.
The Blues then provide the opposition for Gareth Southgate's first home game in charge of Middlesbrough which will also see Chelsea come up against former centre-half Robert Huth for the first time.
But, while Chelsea are in action at Middlesbrough, Arsenal's away match at Wigan and Liverpool's home game with Newcastle are postponed for Champions League qualifiers.
The big weekend during the early part of the season will arrive on September 16-17 when all the Champions League participants play each other - Chelsea take on Liverpool and Manchester United face Arsenal.
Premiership new boys Reading, Sheffield United and Watford all have tough opening day games.
Reading face Middlesbrough at home while Sheffield United have the daunting task of trying to prevent Liverpool getting off to a good start at Bramall Lane.
Watford face a difficult trip to Everton and then entertain West Ham and Manchester United but Watford chief executive Mark Ashton says everyone at the club cannot wait for the action to begin.
Ashton told Sky Sports news: "We look forward to going to Goodison Park for the first game in the Premiership.
"It's fantastic, there are no easy games, we're fully aware of that. West Ham followed by Manchester United is fantastic and we are eagerly looking forward to it.
"The manager (Adrian Boothroyd) is going through the list of games. It gives him an opportunity to do more detailed preparation. It just makes everything so much more real, we can't wait.
"The interest is building, the World Cup makes things more interesting and our fans can't wait. Season tickets have gone well, commercially things are moving well and it's anticipation all round."
Coach Adrian Boothroyd added: "Including me, we've never been (in the Premiership) before, of all the players there's only Jordan Stewart who has.
"It's going to be an adventure from the very start I'm sure. I'm really excited about all the fixtures and I can't wait to get started."
But Boothroyd is adamant he is not going to ditch the players who took the club into the top flight for the sake of 'sexy' signings.
He said: "One thing I'm not going to do is forget the players who got us into this position in the first place.
"I'm not into signing sexy names, I'm into signing players who fit into the culture and the way we work here. We've all got to go up a level, but if you don't get these challenges you don't improve."

I wonder if any of the new Premiership entrants - Reading, Sheffield United and Watford - will do as well as Wigan did last season. Any guesses? -
With big clubs like Juve & Milan facing relegation threats as a result of the mess going on in Italian football, could one hope that the likes of Cannavaro, Zambrotta, Nesta & Gattuso feature in Chelsea colours this coming season?

Shevchenko keeps big names talking in latest Chelsea Magazine
There can be few better indicators of ChelseaÂ’s increased standing on the world football stage than the cover pictures carried by Chelsea magazine this summer. Following on from Michael Ballack on JulyÂ’s edition, shortly after the BundesligaÂ’s top player had signed, comes the arrival of Serie AÂ’s brightest star.
In an exclusive seven-page interview in the new, August edition, Andriy Shevchencko confirms that ChelseaÂ’s ability to tempt him to the Premiership must have been a big shock for the giant clubs of Italy.
“Obviously it was a very important decision for me and Milan,” he tells Chelsea. “It could be the first time that a player has left the club in the prime of his career, so in a way this was not normal.
“I don’t think it was a painful divorce. I can only thank Galliani and the chairman Silvio Berlusconi because they always behaved very well with me. They also understood the reason I was leaving was not money related, it was the mix of a new challenge and family reasons.”
In what is the only major interview he conducted in England after putting pen to his four-year Chelsea deal, the Ukraine marksman reiterates what he said before the transfer; that language and family were prime motivations for the move. This time he goes into more detail.
“For me it’s difficult to speak the language, but I can follow and understand your English. My wife speaks to my son in English and we all want to be able to have a conversation in English. I hope in three or four months we will be able to do this.
“I’ll be speaking your language every day at the training ground soon and for me it’s very important to be able to communicate with my new team-mates, coaches, media and fans in English. My family speak English, Russian and Italian, two languages for a young child is hard, three is really difficult, but we’ll get there eventually. My life is here now so I have to learn quickly.”
The game of darts, the current training ground craze is something Shevchenko will also have to brush up on, although he tells Chelsea that he has played before. He mentions other sports he used to play and ItalyÂ’s famous fashion designer Giorgio Armani.
His rapport with the Milan fans and their attempts to change his mind are also discussed. But Chelsea’s new record signing recognises that it is his relationship with José Mourinho that will be crucial from now on.
“I’ve always been told that he’s a serious professional and a very nice man,” he says. “When I met him, that was confirmation of this and even more. He said some kind words and I am very happy that Mr Mourinho said them, especially as they are words coming from one of the best managers in the world.
“He’s a very interesting person to talk to. I am looking forward to proving on the field that he was right about me. I have spoken to him for a long time and I feel that he is a very special person and a very clever man, as well as someone who knows a lot about football.”
The three other players who also signed during one hectic week as May turned into June — Salomon Kalou, John Obi Mikel and Hilario - speak to the magazine too and there’s a chance to catch up with a defender who was a new signing 43 years earlier — FA Cup-winning substitute Marvin Hinton.
Plus for a summer flavour, thereÂ’s a look at athletics at Stamford Bridge both past and present, including a meeting with Paula Radcliffe in the Chelsea Health Club.

BLUES KEEP CLOSE EYE ON NESTA
Chelsea have reportedly told AC Milan they are prepared to beat any offer if the Serie A giants are forced to offload Alessandro Nesta.
The Blues feel they have built up a good understanding with the Rossioneri after negotiating a £30million deal for Andriy Shevchenko before the World Cup.
And they have now asked Milan to keep them informed of any potential plans to sell centre-back Nesta, depending on the outcome of the Italian match-fixing affair.
The San Siro club are in danger of being relegated to Serie B although their lawyers continue to protest their innocence.
Nesta, 30, failed to feature in the knock-out stages as Italy won the World Cup due to a groin injury. If he is sold, the bidding is likely to start at around £12million.
Meanwhile, The Sun claims Valencia have made a £5.5million bid for left-back Asier Del Horno.
And Arsenal defender Ashley Cole - his potential replacement - is said to be willing to drop his legal battle over the 'tapping up' scandal in order to facilitate an £16million switch to Stamford Bridge.

GALLAS CLOSE TO NEW BLUES DEAL
William Gallas is set to extend his stay at Chelsea after clear-the-air talks between his agent and Blues chief executive Peter Kenyon.
The 28-year-old defender, who helped France to the World Cup final this summer, has long been linked with a move away from London after failing to agree a new deal and voicing his unhappiness at being used regularly as a full-back by boss Jose Mourinho.
Gallas was a known target of AC Milan, though the move was dependent on the outcome of the current match fixing investigation in which the club is implicated.
That now seem an irrelevance, however, with reports in the French press suggesting the parties met to agree the basis of a new deal during the showpiece in Germany.
