Mourinho not interested to groom young players?

  He bought Ballack and Sheva with the UCL Cup in mind and they are players who can play at the top level for another 3-4 years?
  
  Really haven't seen any young talent emerge from the Chelsea ranks since JM took the helm.

  with that kind of money, why is there a need to groom anyone at all?

  i don't think Mourinho cares about grooming and Abramovich probably doesn't know anything more than he's playing Football Manager with real life people

  We buy groomed young players. LoL. Chelsea overall age is like 24 25 if not wrong. Quite young wor..

  maybe this is the trend now......lesser clubs grooming players, then big clubs buy over.
  
  Just look at Ferdinand, Rooney, Joe Cole, Lampard, Carrick etc.

  we already got lots of great talented youths in our reserves ^^ and buying even more from other clubs and also developping more youths for 1st team

  Yeap. An Under-21 England International formerly of Leeds United.
  Was loan to Villa last season where he shone but now he's back at Newcastle looking rather dull.

  if u notice...joe cole...lampard...carrick...defoe...ferdinand and quite a few more top players had their young education at west ham utd...

  just to add on.
  the other day i was playing FM07 as chelsea.
  knn,the champions league competiton required me to register home grown players that train with the club from the youth set up.
  The only player i was able to choose from the senior squad is john terry. the other is some unknown guy in the reserves

  Norwegian starlet Tarik Elyounussi has admitted he would love the chance to link up with Chelsea.
  
  The Premiership giants tried to get Elyounussi to England for a trial in the summer and then again this month, but they were foiled as Fredrikstad are due to play in the Norwegian Cup final.
  
  However, Elyounussi has now revealed that Chelsea's summer attempt failed because of a problem with the then Fredrikstad director Arve Mokkelbost.
  
  "That was a bummer," Elyounussi said of the failed summer bid.
  
  But the 18-year-old forward is hopeful Chelsea will maintain their interest.
  
  "Of course I'm flattered. Chelsea is a big club," he told Fredrikstad Blad.
  
  "This could be an interesting experience for me.
  
  "It will be good for me too see how a big club like that is administrated, and I would hopefully get to see a match as well."
  
  those small clubs sure know how to jack up price of the player when they know chelsea is intersted
