Didier Drogba has told Chelsea's highly-paid stars they can repay club owner Roman Abramovich's faith by winning him the Champions League.
Drogba is the latest player to benefit from Abramovich's generosity, signing a new four-year contract reported to be worth more than 100,000 a week.
"Roman did everything to help us win it. So I think we need to do it now," said the striker, who is top scorer in this year's Champions League with five goals.
"I love the Champions League and I was determined to perform well in it this season. I was disappointed last year, because I think I performed below what I was expected to do.
"So this year I decided to come again. For that reason my hat-trick against Levski Sofia was special. I had always wanted to score against Barcelona, too, because I hadn't done it before."
