Chelsea and Premium TV unveiled a radical new website for the Premier League champions.
The site, www.chelseafc.com has been developed to give Chelsea FC fans a unique interactive online experience confirming the web as the club�s key communication platform with its global fan base.
Chief Executive Peter Kenyon said, �A converged digital media strategy is at the heart of Chelsea�s business plan and relationship with its fans. The site also represents the Chelsea brand in great fashion, it is stylish, innovative and in our build partner PTV we have aligned ourselves again with another market leader in the relevant sector.�
The site is fully broadband and mobile enabled, has been developed with Web 2.0 firmly in mind and in consultation with Chelsea fans, via focus groups, as well as other main stakeholders.
Chelsea has other plans in the pipeline with far advanced discussions regarding Chinese and Korean language sites, as well as projects in the United States and Japan.
