Michael Ballack accepts he can do better at Chelsea.
Booed by Blues fans during the 1-0 defeat of Newcastle this week, Ballack said: "Of course I can play better.
"It's important to remember I have only been here for three months. It's not easy for players from abroad to fit straight in.
"It's a question of getting used to the style, of fitting in with the players, and that takes time. It's the same with any change of job.
"And being dominant isn't necessarily just about scoring and making goals. It's about how you fit into the team, because that is very important too.
"Take Claude Makelele - he's a very strong player and not necessarily the most spectacular, but his contribution to the side has been immense.
"The team has many strong characters, who all want to play well and be noticed. There are not just five or six top players in the side, there are 14 or 15 world-class players.
"It's difficult for the coach to try and make everybody happy. We just have to carry on, make it through and finish the job." -
So difficult to please some pple. It's not like the man hasn't been scoring any goals

i think Ballack plays a key role in chelsea. He is already considered indispensable by Jose. I believe that the goal he scored from the free kick on sunday against everton when Chelsea was 1-0 down was facking vital. he brought the game back square and gave the team a moral and determination boost, knowing that they can still fight back and grab 3 points. No doubt everyone will be talking about lampard and drogba's goal, the match may be totally different if Ballack did not score from that free kick. I support Germany too, so no.13 Michael Ballack have my full support!!! ^^

and frankly he hasnt scored enough too. his purpose is to create chances but sadly his passing sucks.
the fans have every reason to be angry. afterall his performance hardly match his 130k pounds salary. -

That's just the thing ... he wasn't even signed on specially to score goals (although it's a plus that he's capable of that)
