Chelsea to offer £7M for Birmingham's Upson tribalfooball.com - December 28, 2006
Chelsea are preparing a £7 million offer for Birmingham City defender Matthew Upson. The Daily Mail says Chelsea are lining up Upson despite growing confidence at Stamford Bridge that skipper John Terry will recover from a back problem in just two weeks.
Terry will see a specialist in Bordeaux on Thursday to assess the disc problem in his back, and although coach Jose Mourinho admitted yesterday he does not know how long his captain will be sidelined, there is a belief among Chelsea medical staff that he can avoid surgery.

hahaha.... The one we cannot get rid of cos no one can pay his wages? I think he out of sight out of mind already. I dun mind being paid thousands every week just to kick a football during training. I will even polish the ball after practice.
