Chelsea management are disappointed with the contribution so far this season of summer signing Michael Ballack.
The Independent says there is disbelief at Chelsea at the contribution of Ballack this season, a player who was definitely signed on Jose Mourinho's recommendation. Equally there has been surprise at the club that the Germany captain was not among those named by Mourinho on Saturday against Fulham as having underperformed.
With four goals this season, Ballack may have done more than Andriy Shevchenko but much less than was expected

chelsea have a lot of problems.
to begin with, they made a lot of transfer mistakes.
selling duff and gallas is the biggest of all. duff, together with robben adds a lot of variation to their attack. gallas is easily one of the best defenders around.
signing players like ballack, SWP, mikel, boulahrouz and sheva.
insisting on playing lampard when he is obviously off-form. -

i will have faith in Lampard even if Lampard do not score in 10 games as his gameplay is good the goals will come one day

Sheva gameplay is good but he is low on confident and physical toughness so i beileve sheva can make it @ chelsea -

Lampard is not doing too well this season.
Essien is doing better.
Ballack is not getting deep enough.
Lampard and Ballack cannot complement each other YET.
Makelele is also 20% down form his best.
Almost all of the Chelsea players have not shown their best form YET this season except for one or two (needless to mention names).
JM is getting no luck with injured players.
This season is going to be tough. -

Chelsea senior stars Didier Drogba and Claude Makelele had to be talked out of a confrontation with manager Jose Mourinho over the selection of Michael Ballack last week, it has been revealed.
The Sunday Times says the pair were furious with Ballack's contribution in the 2-2 draw with Fulham and had to be prevented from confronting their manager over Ballack's lack of effectiveness.
Senior players at Chelsea believe that Ballack is not pulling his weight, does not work hard enough defensively and has failed to mesh well with his new colleagues in attack. -

Jose Mourinho is considering his future at Chelsea after a dressing room split emerged over his team selections.
The Sunday Times it was reported that continued behind-the-scenes irritations at the club may lead to the manager quitting at the end of the season to take up a job with either Juventus or Internazionale in Italy.
According to the reports, Guus Hiddink, the Russian national team coach, would step into his shoes at Stamford Bridge.
"The fans don't make the team, I make the team," said Mourinho in the aftermath of a narrow victory over Newcastle United in which elements of the home support jeered under pressure midfielder Michael Ballack.
"I don't select players because of the fans or comments in the press. I select players from my analysis of the team. I have analysis through scientific technology and, based on my vision and knowledge of the game, Ballack is still untouchable."
but i seriously think ballack did not help improve the teamplay -
mourihno is over-rated.
fielding SWP when he is always losing the ball proves it.
signing sheva proves it.
blaming sheva also proves it.
