Chelsea have dismissed newspaper speculation claiming manager Jose Mourinho could leave in the summer.
The Blues will not officially comment but BBC Sport understands Chelsea consider the reports as tittle-tattle.
Reports alleged Mourinho's relationship with owner Roman Abramovich and chief executive Peter Kenyon was strained and claimed Guus Hiddink could take over.
It was also suggested they were unhappy with losing ground to Manchester United in the Premiership title race.
The Stamford Bridge club are second in the top flight and trail United by six points.
Mourinho has been rocked by injuries to key players while high-profile signings such as £30m striker Andriy Shevchenko have been underperforming.
Captain and centre-back John Terry has been one of the biggest losses through injury and the team have dropped six points in their last four Premiership outings while letting in six goals.
And, with the budget available to Mourinho, it has been alleged that Chelsea's bosses are not amused by the club's predicament.

However, such suggestions have been dismissed in the corridors of power at Stamford Bridge.
They are confident of overhauling Manchester United to secure a third successive league title and believe they can win other silverware this season.
The club are in the last 16 of the Champions League, the Carling Cup semi-finals and the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Abramovich helped in the appointment of Dutchman Hiddink as his country's national team coach on a two-and-a-half-year deal in April 2006.
Russian football chiefs rejected the possibility that Hiddink could leave his job so soon.
"He has a contract, he is the manager of the national side, and while his contract is in force no one can consider him as a candidate for another post," Russian Football Union president Vitaly Mutko told a Russian radio station -

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is demanding an immediate improvement in results from manager Jose Mourinho.
The Independent says nothing has been said directly to Mourinho by Abramovich - that is not the Russian billionaire's style - but the Chelsea owner is understood to have grown annoyed at how his team have performed this season.
It's reported that doubts over how Mourinho acts under pressure has been raised inside Chelsea and it is thought the linking of Guus Hiddink to his job, following on from the warning of an unnamed boardroom source last week that Mourinho had to sort things out quickly, is part of a growing campaign. -

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has spoken with his agent about his future at Stamford Bridge.
The Sun says Mourinho is concerned at friction with his Stamford Bridge chiefs.
He held a meeting with his agent Jorge Mendes on Friday after he jetted into London from Portugal.
Mendes is one of Mourinho's closest pals in football and his most trusted career advisor.
And the Portuguese deal-maker will be in charge of brokering a move if Mourinho's time at Stamford Bridge comes to an end.
A Portuguese source said: "Mendes' priority is to look after Mourinho's career.
"You always have to be prepared for what may be, but at the moment they are working on transfers for Chelsea."

Chelsea officials are convinced this will be the last season in charge for manager Jose Mourinho.
The People says sources at the club believe Mourinho is certain to quit in the summer with both Juventus and Inter Milan offering him an escape route.
Mourinho has become frustrated with the behind-the-scenes political battles at the Bridge which have left him feeling isolated.
It's reported Mourinho is still furious that Gallas left for Arsenal on the last day of the transfer deadline, preventing him from bringing in a replacement until now.
There is also a growing feeling at Chelsea that Mourinho has lost patience with a transfer policy that goes against everything he preached on his arrival in England.
The Portuguese boss insisted that he only wanted young, hungry players like Michael Essien who he could mould into Chelsea's system.
The £30million arrival of Andriy Shevchenko - a close personal friend of owner Roman Abramovich - flew in the face of that pattern and Mourinho has done nothing to hide his frustration at the Ukrainian striker's horrendous lack of form. -
I would be sad to see JM leave Chelsea and I hope he doesn't.

JM is just like any player in the Chelsea outfit.
If he does not perform....he goes.
But the problem is that everyone now expects too much from him. Imagine being thrashed by Arsenal twice within in a few days and crashing out in 2 cup competition. Why is no one yelling for Rafa's head?
Here we are only talking about 3 draws followed by a 6 - 1 thrashing of another team, and everyone is talking about JM leaving Chelsea. What Crap. -

Same when JM first came in. We were so outraged when Claudio Ranieri was told to go. We all hated JM but eventually we grew to like him. -
In the news today, he will stay in Chelsea until 2010 unless he is sacked.
