Nowadays, the top 3 to 5 teams in the EPL are quite closely matched. The European teams are also spending to get the best players in their quest for the UCL. So the chances are getting very slim winning even the treble.
They must be extremely lucky and lady luck shining on htem all the time to win the quad. -

9 points with a game in hand. So 6 points to make up. We still play ManU so that means we will close up to 3 points. Therefore, ManU only need to lose one more game and draw one game with Chelsea winning all other games for us to overtake them.
Now Chelsea seems to be on the up while the likes of Arsenal and ManU are beginning to stutter. Arsenal kenna kicked out of FA Cup by Blackburn. ManU had a 3 goal lead but allowed Reading to come back and almost snatched a draw. -

Arsenal WAS the only other team in the EPL who can do the quad but now would probably end up with nothing.
I think the league title is gone for them. They are in a precarious position in the UCL and now they are out of the FA Cup.
That leaves ManU going after the treble and Chelsea going for the quad. -
