Sorry to disappoint you, but have you seen Chelsea's depth? All PROVEN and TESTED.
Goalkeeper : Cech, Cuducini, Hilario
Defenders : Terry, Carvalho, A Cole, Diarra, Essien, Ferreira, Boularouz, Bridge, Geremi.
Mid-Field : Joe Cole, Lampard, Makelele, Mikel, Ballack, Essien
Forward : SWP, Shev, Drogba, Robben, Kalou, Ben Sahar
Dun forget we still have the following players on loan : Crespo, Veron, Glen Johnson.
This, my man, is DEPTH.
Erm.....
I was referring just for the Champ's league match alone. And only taking into consideration players who can feature for that match. So on-loan players like Crespo, Veron (who may not even come back) were not in my consideration. I don't forsee Glen Johnson featuring in this match either. I doubt Robben is going to reature as well because of injury.
I have not discounted Cudicini as a goalkeeper though. But Liverpool does have Dudek whom I feel is a decent keeper despite letting in a lot of goals against Arsenal earlier this season. But I notice you forgot to mention Hedman, who was pretty good before his previous retirement as well. But I doubt he would ever be called into action though.
In my opinion, Liverpool players like Mascherano, Zenden are no pushovers either.
But I see where you are coming from, however, my stance is still Liverpool for the win. Based on better European record in recent seasons and I forsee Liverpool's subs/bench/other players being decisive in the victory.
We could go on and on comparing player to player.... but that isn't my intention right now. Hope you can understand that.
ps; you seem a little cheesed off and I really don't wish to get into an arguement with you.... it's not like you're the same type of fan as GP.
