not a bad scoreline for milan as they got dominated in the 2nd half and gilardino went to sleep somewhere in the pitch
kaka seems more like the striker than him
after maldini was sub off due to some reason or other then gattuso sub off becoz of an injury man utd dominated the whole 2nd half
kaka with 2 good chances in early 2nd half but never capatalise it
i think milan will win it -

Maldini was a great defender in his heyday. I'd say though that any team playing against Milan would be more concerned with keeping Kaka in check than Gilardino at any time. -

Joe Cole has given Chelsea a narrow edge with his winner against Liverpool in their Champions League semifinal first-leg at Stamford Bridge.
Cole struck in the 29th minute to give Chelsea a 1-0 first-leg win and hope of reaching the Champions League final in Athens on May 23.
Mourinho admitted he was disappointed his side had failed to score more goals but was happy to settle for a one-goal lead after their first victory over the Merseysiders in the Champions League.
He said: "I am happy with the players. Very happy. It is a positive result.
"We are in front and when the game starts in Liverpool, Chelsea will be winning 1-0.
"We had more than enough chances in the first half to score two, three or four goals. We had big chances to score and then they had a reaction in the second half.
"But they only had one chance - a Steve Gerrard shot that saw Petr Cech make an unbelievable save.
"We were not as dangerous in the second half although we had situations on the counter attack.
"But overall I think Chelsea deserved a victory - no doubt about it.
"One goal more would have been fairer especially after what we did in the first half. But football is about what it is and it is a 1-0 result.
"For sure (Rafael) Benitez and his people will think it is a result that gives them a chance to be in the final. But me and my people think the result gives us a chance to in the final, so everything is open.
"They are a strong side at home and they have a history of success in the Champions League over decades but we think we have a chance."
But Mourinho hinted that Benitez may choose to rest some of his players against Portsmouth at the weekend - a luxury he cannot afford in Chelsea's game against Bolton.
Mourinho added: "In three days' time I can guess that Liverpool plays in Portsmouth and it is not an important game for them.
"So their next important game is against Chelsea next Tuesday. But Chelsea will be in a final against Bolton on Saturday.
"So again, like today, the power is not the same. But we played very well in the first half and the players have a dream.
"So we go to Anfield to try and be in the final."
Mourinho had moaned on television about the referee Markus Merk's failure to award his side a penalty for hand ball but replays showed the incident was outside the area and the Chelsea coach was suitably contrite afterwards.
He said: "I don't know whether it was inside or outside the area. The referee was top.
"But like everybody in the game - me and the players - he made a mistake.
"His mistake was Alvaro Arbeloa's handball. If it was inside it is a penalty and outside it is a free-kick. But it was handball."

Joe Cole was delighted with his winner for Chelsea against Liverpool in their Champions League clash.
He told Sky Sports 1: "We'll see the importance of the goal next week - it's only half-time.
"Liverpool played well in the second half and there was a bit of fatigue creeping in - it's one of those games where we had to dig in.
"It was a good battling performance from everyone and although we're happy to win the game we're not going to get over-excited with a 1-0 win.
"I've seen teams with bigger margins than us get overturned in the second leg so it's a case of keeping our feet on the floor - next week will be the decider."
He added: "It's the first time we've scored against them in Europe and maybe it'll open the floodgates.
"This season has been terrible for me with injuries - I've been fighting hard every day.
"I've wanted to repay all the boys and all the staff who have helped me because it's been difficult."
