I may be wrong and giving him too much credit that he really doesn't know what he's doing. But if he's trying to play Mourinho here, I really don't understand why because he's not helping anyone, not even Chelsea fans.
Mourinho is a good manager because what he does helps his team. What good is Ghimpheng's post to anyone is a different thing. Maybe we all just have a good laugh at him? -

I find Chelsea plays best when Joe Cole and Robben are playing. Because the wing play is good. I didn't watch the match but apparently they used Wright Philips and Geremi today. I don't know who played on the left (probably Wright-Philips), but these two guys haven't been been playing often, so may not be as sharp as they could be. Think people should stop blaming refs and watever for losing the EPL title. If they can't score convincingly with a 30million striker and a EPL top scorer in the team, they're just not good enough, wat for keep complaining that they are not being awarded penalties every other match.
Who wants a champion who keep winning matches through penalties.
At least there's still good chances for the FA cup & CL, go Chelsea! -

The problem is with the Lampard/Ballack combi. Because when they put both with Makelele already there, they lose width on the wings.... Hmm..... I feel Ballack Lampard combi for 4-5-1 would be better, since both can take long shots pretty well. Essien has a decent shot as well, but not as fearsome as Ballack. Somehow he just doesn't seem as effective at Chelsea, can't say he's not motivated given how he does seem to put in effort when he does play, and the raw emotion on his face when he scores.
He still gets the occassional goal, but he's just not lighting up like he is expected to. Which is like him at his two previous clubs. -
To add, 4-5-1 was good in the past because they can play around with the different Wingers they had. Duff, SWP, Cole, Robben. 2 playing, 2 on the bench. 4-4-2 would be ok too... provided they play the wings instead of a compact diamond midfield. With Ballack or Lampard playing out of position. -
ballack should pack up and go back to germany.
lampard should start concentrate on being a better midfielder and create chances. all he cares about is trying to score.
play bridge instead of ashley cole.
drop geremi and ferreira who are terrible.
drogba is obviously out of form. he has not scored in many games.
sheva is always played out of position. they should either sign a creative playmaker to complement the strikers or drop him for good. -
AB will not be throwing more $$ into the team liao..jose will have to make do w the current team..
but seriously, their team still the best in term of individual qualities..
