Ricardo Carvalho has quashed speculation he could leave Chelsea come the January transfer window. The Portugal international defender's future has been uncertain following the exit of manager Jose Mourinho, who was instrumental in clinching his signature. Despite the exit of the 'special one', Carvalho is committed to The Blues' cause and is even predicting the squad can go on to claim silverware. However, Chelsea have made an inauspicious start to the Premier League that sees the side well down in 7th in the table with just eight goals from their nine league outings this term. "At this moment I'm not thinking about leaving Chelsea, but how to improve as a player," explained Carvalho. "The Chelsea players are prepared for everything and I'm convinced that we can have a successful season this year.
"I have not changed, I am always the same. Mourinho's exit is in the past and now it's important to live in the present."
