Chelsea Vs Totterham - Ref against Blues again!

  Chelsea beat Spurs 2-0 wif Beletti & SWP scoring.
  
  New guy Anelka almost score twice, but a lucky G-K save & goal pole saved Spurs from a possible trashing.
  
  The score could have been more but Ref ruled Ballack's goal offside & waived several possible penalties in favour of Totterham.
  
  Ref also refrain from booking a few Spurs players a Red, though they had a lot of ugly tackles on Chelsea players.
  
  Chelsea took 3 pts in the bag while other 2 of "Big 4", Arsenal N Liverpool has been held to a draw. They await the outcome of the late game between ManUtd/ Newcastle.

  Great that Anelka didnt score his debut score! Strikers who score debut goals dont seem to get it right in Chelsea, *looks at Shevchenko and Pizzaman*.

  Used to dislike Anelka when he was at Liverpool or Man City....but now must learn to like him
  
  My observation.
  
  1. He does not lose the ball easily. Can hold on to the ball.
  
  2. When he came on, he was already in the midst of action despite not having a training session with the squad.
  
  3. Like others before me....glad he did not score...
  
  4. Base on his style of playing, he CANNOT replace Drogba. Drogba is strength and power. Anelka is more deft and sublime, more like Kalou.
  
  5. I think he is better as an attacking midfielder.
  
  I hope this is the start of another Chelsea push for the CL.
