  what good is a photograph of you

  everytime i look at it, it makes me feel blue

  what use is a souvenir of something we once have

  when all it ever does is, make me feel bad

  when a little glance is enough to make me feel dull

  girl of sixteen whole life ahead of her

  slashed her wrist bored with life

  didn't succeed

  thank the lord for small mercies

   

  fighting back the tears

  mother read the note again

  sixteen candles burn in her mind

  she takes the blame

  it's always the same
