if you make your kid go to a school he/she doesn't like, if that kid already has a place in mind... it will backfire...

nah.. that i was better suited to poly life...
that if i came out of poly, i'd have a diploma which is a "tertiary" paper..
poly will teach me skills.. whereas JCs will teach me.. uhh.. math.. physics
and if i screw up and don't make uni, i'd still have a diploma as opposed to A-levels.. and more importantly, skills..
if i do well enough to get into uni, i'd get 1 year of exemptions from uni anyway...
finally, mom saw that advantage.. and realised that i was more suited to poly..
but hey.. it's over and done with -
