The Stanley Cup went to the Hurricanes!!!!
The Oilers picked up steam too late. Actually, from second period onwards, it was FAST!!! Good game and sadly Hurricanes did deserve to win. They stood up last night.
I think that six minutes into the first period goal spoils it for us!!!!

I was at an evening lecture .... the prof had a match ticker on ....... the whole hall went listless after the hurricanes scored the first goal ..... no one could concentrate further, so everyone went off to the department students' lounge where they has this projector TV and watched the rest of the match, prof included ........

Need some advice
Got into an argument with someone who blocked my way in a carpark and now he wants to bring me to court cos I showed a centre finger. All I did was sounded my horn at him and raised my open palm.
Best part he is accusing me of the centre finger as her felt angry as it was bad luck to be shown that during chinese new year period. He got out of his car and approached me while I locked myself in and after a while exchanging questions, I backed off and bypassed him so that other cars behind me can also pass. That guy blocked everyone including me and now he wants to bring me to court for showing a centre finger....Sigh...what should I do? -

look for a lawyer, and see if you can counter-sue him, usually in this kind of cock case, the judge will order both parties to go for arbitration with the respective lawyers in canada instead of proceeding further like in the states .... most provinces have that, but you'd have to consult a lawyer in anycase, canadian courts have little tolerance for such frivolous lawsuits, so it may just be thrown out ..... that chap must be a FOBster too ...

Actually, there is a hugh M'sian/S'porean contingent in a forum. Badminton lovers/fanatics. You may wish to post there and see what reaction you get.
But still, having a lawyer to represent you may be a better choice. Especially, if you are still new in BC to even know your rights.
