Quit smoking and live longer?

A young man is walking in the park when he saw a wrinkled old man sitting on the bench and smoking a cigarette and started coughing after a few puffs.
Seeing this, the young man sat down beside the old man and decided to persuade him to quit smoking for his health's sake.
"Uncle, smoking is bad for your health, quit now and you might live to 80 years old."
Upon hearing this, the old man started to laugh.
"Why are you laughing uncle?" asked the young man.
The old man look at the young man and said, "I'm 90 years old." -

I've heard that among the "Ren Rui"s(The term they use to call someone older than 100 years old) in china, some of them smokes regularly for many many years but they can live that long. -
