A preacher encountered a grizzly bear in the wilderness. The bear raised its paws and was about to maul the preacher who in fear shouted, "In the name of God, I command you to stop!!"
The bear, shocked too, said, "You are brave, my man!". The preacher enquired how the bear could talk, the bear replied that it was a circus trained bear but now freed.
Undaunted, the preacher began preaching to the bear, which eventually accepted the gospel, converted and was baptised in a nearby river.
All that done, the preacher was walking away feeling great when the bear once again, roared and raised it's paws menacingly at the preacher. Terrified, the preacher screamed, " You're a Christian now!"
The bear apologised to the preacher, put its paws together and looked skyward, "Dear God, thank you for this wonderful dinner which I am about to partake...Amen"....
