A young millitary officer invited his friends-at-arms to a dinner.
Dining at his house, they discussed many different matters, matters of work together with discussing their personal life. The dinner would have been calm and pleasant, if not for the officer's 10-year-old son. The boy kept making noises, playing pranks on the guests, intervering with their discussions, making rude remarks, lauging aload, and doing anything else he could to prevent them from enjoying a calm dinner.
The officer, the boy's father, demanded that he will go to his room several times, but the boy refused. When he started making rude remark, he slapped him on the face, but the son didn't stop doing that.
In the end, the officer took his son by the arm and dragged him to his room, there beating him several times and closing the door.
"I am very sorry for my son's behaviour, my dear friends"- He explained to his guests. "But I simply don't know what to do. The boy is driving me crazy! He never lets me do my work, or rest calmly when I need a rest. I tried everything- punishing him, taking his pocket money, beating him, locking him in his room... Nothing works! He is never tired, and just keeps returning to his bad habits. In fact, I told him to stay in his room until you leave, but I am sure that in five minutes he will return and keep annoying us."
One of the guests was an old, mustashed clever General. He rose up immediately after the officer finished talking, and said:
"Why didn't you tell me before? I know just what to do. Let me talk to him."
"As you wish, general. But when it comes to my son, I don't think anything will help."
The general went to the boy's room, and after ten minutes returned to the table.
"Everything is fine. Let us finish our dinner, shall we?"
Fifteen minutes have passed and the boy didn't return. Then half an hour. Then an hour.
After two hours without a single sign from the boy the officer was so amazed he couldn't keep silent on the matter anymore.
"I cannot believe it, general! Never, in my whole life, my son kept quiet for such a long time! You are a genious, just like that! I must know... Please, you must tell me what you told to my son when you went inside!"
"Hmm... Nothing special, really. Just taught him how to masturbate."
