The best i can guess is that the hospital was nearer then the dentist for the guy. then he in great pain so he despo go hospital
the rest of my answer all very logical one but i think they should be wrong SO ANSWER PLZ -

The man shot his tooth with a pistol to dislodge it and in the process blew a hole in his jaw. He had to go to the emergency room to have it repaired. -

She had a wound that wasn't healing properly. She had heard that blowfly maggots are often used to treat patients with infections. The maggots eat the dead tissue and get rid of harmful bacteria. (Some fact: Over 200 hospitals in the united states and europe use maggots and about 5000 laboratory-grown maggots are delivered each week) -
