Long time ago in China, there lived a rich landlord.
One day, the landlord passed the vegetable patch and saw his servants putting some brown stuff on the vegetables. Curious, he went up and asked on of them.
"What are you putting?"
The servant replied: "I'm applying faeces sir, so the vegetables would not taste bitter when cooked"
The landlord quickly scolded the servants and told them to stop as it was unhygenic.
Later, when the landlord was served his food, he asked his servants why the vegetables tasted so bitter.
The servant said: "You told us not to apply faeces because it was unhygenic!"
The landlord said: "Apply now." -
