There is a difference between an insult and a joke.
All humor is lost when a group of people's dignity is lost when the joke is on them.
Like I've mention, you don't make 'jokes' about physically or mentally handicap people, neither do you make jokes about people's skin color, illnesses, race, language, much less their religious beliefs.
Never forget that such 'simple jokes' are the breeding ground for discrimination and sterotyping. -

don't be offended, it's just my personal opinion and to each his own.
it may be controversial, but since the past few years, i've come to the realization that man created the idea of god since the caveman days since man has always wanted to seek comfort in praying to a "higher" being.
that idea slowly evolved throughout the ages, from atheism to pantheons of gods to a single almighty god.
and because humans are all the same, they share this belief that there is a more powerful being up there, but due to cultural differences and geographical locations, they evolved different but due to globalisation of the world, they spread around and get seeded in different countries.
all the scientists and anthropologists in this world would agree with me.
don't be offended, just my personal two cents and i'm not forcing this on anyone.
