1.   Why is Ngee Ann Polytechnic called NP, not NAP ?

2.   Why is NTU called Nanyang Technological University, Not Nanyang University of

      Technology ie NUT ?

3.   NUS is National University of Singapore BUT nus also means twisted, tighten

     and swollen ? What is twisted, tighten and swollen leh ?

its bad to make fun of own school...

i was told when i first joined a company that N.U.S means Not Useful and Stupid....at least NTU fare better..with Not Too Useful.....
