Once a young prince was put under an evil spell by a witch.
The spell was that he could only speak one word each year.
However, if he didn't use his one word during a given year, he could use two words the next year.
One day, the prince saw the princess of his dreams and fell madly in love.
All he wanted was to go up to her and say "My darling." So he decided to wait two years before speaking to her.
At the end of the two years, he realised he also wanted to say "I love you."
This meant waiting another three years, but he was sure it would be worth it. And true enough, after five years, his love was just as strong, and it was clear to him that he wanted to marry her. But to say "Will you marry me?" meant he would have to wait four more years.
Finally, at the end of the nine years, the prince happily appeared before the princess, bent down on one knee, and said, "My darling, I love you. Will you marry me?"
The princess looked at him and said, "Excuse me. What did you say?"
Say wat???
Need to wait another 9 years....
nope, 11 years...
"I said, 'My Darling, I love you, Will you marry me?"
Ohh... in that case, the princess better go and kiss some frogs
