Again this art originate from Southern China. All of the * Gar (Lau Gar, Choy Gar, Mok Gar, Hung Gar and all) originate from Southern China. This one is no exception.
This art also originate from Southern Shaolin. A Shaolin monk by the name of Mok Da Si started this art.
Mok Gar focus is on kicking, and they are very good at it. Sounds like Taekwando, but it has NO relationship with Taekwando.
Although their focus is on kicking, one also has to learn punching so that it will be a complete self defense system. Imagine this: You can kick well, but you can't punch. The upper part of your body will be left open to attacks, which you do not want.
Their punches are short-range punch, so your punches work best when you are in close range with your opponents.
(Edited the part of relationship with Taekwando. Forget to put the word "NO" inside)

I don't know of any masters teaching Mok Gar in Singapore, so if anybody knows, you are welcome to post.
Serious answers please. If you can provide a picture of the master, it would be even better.
