tink its PS/2....its wiredOriginally posted by M©+square:I reckon you're using Desktop PC.
Somethings to check.
Mouse and Keyboard uses PS/2 or USB plug and play?
Wired or Unwired?
Win XP Service pack version?
Brand PC or Self custom PC?
This is possibly a OS + Motherboard problem. Especially you've installed a new kid on the block - program/software.
I've experienced before.
Possible Solutions
1) One troublesome solution is to remove your HDD and get another PC(your friend's) and boot up from the 2nd PC to see if the same syndrome happens.
Most likely it should work, unless it is solely your OS problem which you need to do system restore.
2) Go to BIOs setup check if your USB legacy is enabled.
Your description is too vague, you need to furnish more info and details.
Is it okay now?
Cheers
