Internet problem

Ok this is realy strange
I go internet for lyk 10-15 minutes then i cant access any more web pages nowadays.But im still connected to my MSN...and im using a 512 singnet broadband by the way -
maybe something wrong with your IE... try use firefox see got diff...

Tried clearing cache and all the internet files whenever that happens?
Maybe your parents set a internet time limit -

But not being able to access msconfig and browsers not working suggest something nasty.
May not be viruses or worms though, but usually the case. -

Really hard to fix this problem if I can't confirm anything. Your antivirus can't work, so I can't tell if it is the viruses that's causing the problem.Originally posted by lpx88:so any idea how do i fix it?
How about task manager? Can you open it to see what processes are running? That could help greatly. -

but is bcos of my home wireless setup...
i reset the modem then reconfigure then ok liao... -

There are no nasty programs from what I see in your task manager. However, this particular process Ares.exe could be causing problems. The problem is like whenever 1 com is on , the other com can't gain access to the internet...

Let's say I on my com 1st , den ard few mins later , when my bro on his com , his can't gain internet access whereby me still in the connection thru net -
