I could link up by wire to desktop...
but could not establish the wireless connection...
previous topics on this did not help....
my laptop w wireless card can't detect wireless connections....
any advice?
Two thing to check. First check to see if your wireless can detect the network(ur router). If cannot mean you didn't turn on the braodcast(Broadcasting of ur SSID) which is needed. If you can detect but cannot connect, go check ur security setting. There is one setting that only allow computer with the certain MAC address to get connected, maybe becos of that you can't connect. So go there and add ur wireless MAC address into it and you should be able to connect it now.
