Alternatives to nero?

  i saw one alternative to nero in pc mag or sth...but 4got the name liao...so is there any tool out there as powerful as nero?

  i mean..an application that can burn videos to vcds...make music audio cds...i dere any of such tool besides alcohol?

  initially i used nti cdmaker
  but after i add in a dvd drive, i installed nero and has been using it ever since
