WLM Beta Refresh Build 0562

A new WLM build 0562 is available to official beta testers only (those who are invited, receive invitations, are NOT official beta testers. You will have to wait.)
You should have received in email..We are pleased to announce that we are releasing an early version of the beta refresh exclusively to the managed beta testers! Build 0562 is now available on Microsoft Connect. You are the FIRST to get this build and we are primed and ready to receive your feedback.
You can log into connect.microsoft.com to get the new build. (Invited people are supposed to log into live.com, but the download link at live.com is not yet updated)
People are complaining that it looks too poor, poorer than the first WLM beta.

The default colour is horrible... Why must they make it ORANGE???
I prefer the first build... -
The new Messenger colours really don't look nice. Of all colours use orange. Too striking.

There are several default color schemes to choose from.

They made it orange because it represents vitality.
My MSN is blue because it represents cool, calmness and fits with my XP theme.

I am testing it now. Not as laggy as I thought it would be.
The only thing is that cannot change the background colours.
The only colour that I can change is the nick bar colour. The one with a paint bucket at the top right corner. -

I want to kill Microsoft already. I am using Windows Live Messenger 8.0 Beta and they ask me to download a copy of MSN Messenger 7.5! Now I can't sign in because I refuse to do it. How to overcome this problem?

WLM beta version ma... But it sounds weird to ask you to downgrade. Install older one then. Weird lor. Ask me to test and then ask me download v7.5 de. Emoticons, me have no problems. I go "upgrade" to v7.5 then. I see what Microsoft says on this. Problem solved. Very fast man. Within one day got answer already.
As I understand the problem you are having is that when you sign in to Windows Live Messenger it gives you a message asking you to download the latest updates of MSN Messenger 7.5. I know that not being able to sign in to Windows Live Messenger is frustrating for you especially if you use it for communication but don't worry I will be doing my best to help you with this concern.
The interface is much more cleaner but one more thing got worse: it never shows how many contacts are online. They fix one, but another one arises.
The problem you're experiencing is due to the mandatory update for Windows Live Messenger. Since this is a Beta version we need to come up with new builds or sub versions to improve Windows Live Messenger, but we are aware of this issue and our programmers and engineers are working on it.
