How to increase download speed of Bit Torrent

  I am currently using Bit to download movies (I know it's not quite right, but still...) and the download speed is pathetic. When others (in other countries) see a speed of 600kbs, mine is less than 20. What could be the matter? I am using Star-hub. Are they limiting the speed or something? Anyway to bypass the limitation, if any?

  Increase your upload rate.

  Depends on what file you are downloading, how many seeds and peers are there who are sharing the file. You can try changing your listening port to anything above 50000

  increase yr upload rate ...get a faster broadband speed...and if u using bitcomet...google search bitcomet and go to their forums...very helpful speed advice there

  lolx i using ABC BT and i m like all right download anime, must see got more seeds n less downloader sia.

  mine is like 1kb/s
  wonder anything i've done wrong ? option thing ?
  seriously i dont really know how to use ,
  and when i try to open the file , it canot be open !
  it says
  "Windows Media Player canot play the file . the player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was use to compress the file ."
  
  but i set the codec right already , can anyone help me with this ?

  vlc for windows quite sucky, only the mac one i find extremely extremely useful. i recommend u download codecs for a52, 3ivx and divx. these 3 solve a lot of problems.

  actually i think we shouldn't be encouraging poeple to use Bit Torrent or in any case to download movies. especially in this issue on how to increase download speed... just my 2 cents.

  iso are CD image files, a complete copy of a CD's contents.
  
  How to use it depends on the content in an ISO file, for example, I make an ISO file of my Playstation games to play on the PS emulator on my computer since it loads faster being an ISO file than on a CD.
