Removing insertion point from web browser

  I have a problem.
  
  Whenever I click on a word or a picture on a webpage, there will be an insertion point beside it. Something like when you're typing in MSword, MSN or even in sgforum when you hit REPLY button.
  
  Any ideas how to turn that off?
  
  Using Firefox 1.5

  I have never seen this problem before. Are you able to edit that word after clicking? If no, should be all right. If you are able to edit it, then something is wrong.
